Rip Torn entered rehab yesterday, a source close to the actor confirms to Gossip Cop.

An intoxicated Torn was arrested on Friday night for breaking into a bank building with a loaded revolver.

A. Thomas Waterfall, an attorney for the actor, told the court during an arraignment on Monday, “The history here is clear that there’s an alcohol issue that needs to be addressed.”

As his lawyer suggested earlier this week, Torn has formally entered a rehabilitation facility on the east coast, Gossip Cop confirms. In order to respect his privacy, we will not reveal the specific location.
