Rihanna opens up in depth about Chris Brown in an emotional interview set to this Sunday on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”

While discussing the 2009 domestic abuse incident and the media frenzy that followed, the “We Found Love” singer breaks down and reveals, “I was more concerned about him.”

Rihanna explains, “As angry as I was, as angry and hurt and betrayed, I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help and who’s going to help him?”

“Nobody’s going to say he needs help. Everybody’s going to say he’s a monster without looking at the source, and I was more concerned about him,” she adds.

    I’ve heard parts of the interview and I don’t think people were fair to her feelings. They just assume she doesn’t know how to feel or that she’s a victim. No one had the right to tell her how to feel or how to react. It was a really sad interview.

    Am I the only one who wonders that after losing the Noxzema deal, she gets a reality check where it stings a little, in the pocketbook? Not to mention ppl are becoming a little bored with all the shenanigans. And in an effort to clean things up a bit, start over, who better to begin the process with than O? I’m wondering if we will stop seeing so many of the party/bad girl pics as we were. Its time for the new and improved, scrubbed clean, new leaf.     Now, she is miliking it in the media. This was how many years ago. like a true saint she felt more concerned for the guy who was hitting her because she is Jesus (come on). We understand that Christ is a bad guy but she doesn’t need to come to O every time she needs her ego massaged and get publicity.
