Rihanna Cancels Boston Concert Due to Laryngitis

Rihanna has canceled her concert in Boston due to laryngitis.

The singer’s “Diamond World Tour” was set to hit the TD Garden arena on Sunday, but Live Nation announced that the show will be postponed for medical reasons.

“Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor’s instruction is unable to perform this evening,” reads the statement.

The show will be rescheduled.

Rihanna herself has not yet commented or tweeted about the cancellation.

Her tour is due to continue on Tuesday in Baltimore; as of now, that concert is slated to go ahead as planned.
