Note to the media: Rihanna does not like being asked about her love life while she’s promoting one of her projects.

The singer-actress, who recently slammed a reporter when he asked about her rumored romance with Ashton Kutcher during a Battleship press junket, reacted similarly when questioned about her personal life during an interview in Australia on Wednesday.

In the video below, Rihanna is asked, “How frustrating is it when you’re linked to another Hollywood star even if you’ve barely met them?”

The “We Found Love” singer responds bluntly, “Very frustrating. Almost as frustrating as being asked about it.”

The interviewer says, “Well, people are interested in you because you’re a big star,” to which Rihanna states firmly, “They are. They’re interested in a lot of things… that don’t matter or shouldn’t matter.”

And that’s where the conversation ends.

    i dont blame her for being mad about it. On the other hand, thats the price of being a star, having people butt into your personal life. She handled it in a mature way though, rather than lashing out at the reporter and causing a whole scene. Subtlely ending the interview or whatever it was in a classy way by politely saying what she did was a smart move

    I can understand ending an interview if the person brought Chris Brown up, but these are standard questions. If Rihanna can’t handle it maybe she should quit acting while she’s ahead.

    This is the second interview that she got mad when asked about her personal life. When you go around the world promoting a movie people are going to ask you about your love life. She really does not have anything else that is so interesting to really talk about. She is a below average entertainer.at best and a horrible actress. If she can not come up with a few prepared answers then she is being stupid. To be an entertainer some of your life is going to be out in the public and people will be asking questions when you are promoting something. If she was walking down the street and asked that would be a different story. But her job is to promote a movie and not act like a selfish diva. She is a very trashy person.

    I think more celeb should stand their ground on their personal lives. It is one thing if they bring it up another to be constantly asked about it during an interview. I don’t blame Rhianna, I believe celeb are entitled to a personal-private life.

    I think she will find that in Australia we don’t really take little divas particularly well. We will mock her for her behaviour and not be interested in talking to her again. Australia isn’t LA where celebrity’s are flocked by people worshiping them. When you go to someone else country you should have a little bit of respect for the people in it and not turn up with your nose already in the air, ready to be rude. If she didn’t want to talk about her love life she should have stated this before agreeing to the interview. Most jornalists in Australia respect international stars and don’t cross the agreed bounderies. It’s only when you actually come from Australia that they don’t have worries in upsetting the star. Rihanna is so over rated she gains her audience by wearing very little clothing and by stiring the pot, in relation to her abusive relationship. Not someone I would want my daughter looking up to. and not a good way to promote a film.

    While I don’t think it’s ok for reporters to ask personal questions and delve into someone’s personal life just because they’re famous, it’s inevitable that these types of questions are going to come up. Most professionals usually subtley deflect the question or give a non-answer, while still keeping the mood light and not ruining the interview. I can understand how frustrating it must be for celebrities but unfortunately, it’s just part of the job and you either deal with it or get out of the business.

    It’s understandable to not want to talk about it, maybe she should have had her management say that personal questions were off limits. Or maybe politely say that her personal love life is just that & she wasn’t interested in talking about it. All of that is better than just ending an interview and getting upset about it.

    i do not think the interview ask anything to invasive definatly nothing more personal than rihannah has talked about in magazines herself. She definately over reacted to the simple question that could have be answered very easily. I just read an interview she did where she talks about how comfortable she feels naked and this is too personal for her give me a freakin break

    Well put. If you buy her album or tickets to one of her shows, you are owed a decent performance. That’s it. Entertainers and other public figures do not “owe” the general public or the press SQUAT. I’m amazed at the nerve of some of the press and a lot of fans who are so in-your-face demanding and intrusive with celebs. Jmho, we already are in a severe TMI storm with these people anyway. No, you do NOT have the right to know. She DOES have the right to tell people to MYOB. Good for her.

    She may want to seek some therapy because I dont think home skillets quite right mentally…..I mean shortly after the whole chris brown incident she was back to work…Almost like she was way too busy to concentrate on her mental health…No one goes thru what shes been thru & comes out perfect!!!!!!!! Shes clearly acting out because shes in denial….And the fact that she has become a serial dater along w all those crazy as hell videos, clearly indicates that shes hit rock bottom….Although she is very successful doesnt mean that shes not capable of having a breakdown. I just hope baby girl gets the help that she needs. Because chewing the heads off of interviewers only lets her fans know that shes human & clearly is not perfect.

    Really folks, you can not be so naive to think that Rihanna is seeing anyone but Chris Brown, right? I do not believe they ever split up…only for the media…and i believe she has been seeing him all along. She is a really a “trashy, beat-me-up, kinda girl and likes playing the victim. You mark my words….they will in fact reveal that they are a ‘so in love couple that just love each other too much to ever stay apart for good’. The media will go “awwww, and oooooooh” isn’t that so sweet…..and then next time she ends up in the hospital, no one will give a rip as she is choosing this! So sad but true…there has been so many hints dropped along the way the last few years, and she is with no one else, and i am as sure as can be that you will find out i am right about this. These two deserve each other and no one else wants either of them!
