“Rihanna just can’t let go of her violent ex, Chris Brown,” begins a piece in Star, which goes on to say, “Almost three years to the day after he left her bruised and beaten, she invited him to hang out in her dressing room during a rehearsal for Feb. 12′s Grammy Awards.”

According to a so-called “insider” for the tab, “They spent over five hours together,” during which Rihanna said they “talked about everything under the sun.”

But it wasn’t just talking they were doing behind closed doors, says Star.

“Everyone is buzzing that they hooked up,” reports the mag, adding, “When she came out, she had a coy smile and looked slightly disheveled.”

Very scandalous… and very wrong.

Gossip Cop has learned that Rihanna rehearsed at the Staples Center in L.A. during the day on February 11 — and then left.

Meanwhile, Brown, who rehearsed a few blocks away, had a dressing room at the Nokia Theatre and didn’t practice his performance until 9 p.m. that night because of a bomb scare in the neighborhood.

Nor did they spend time together on Grammy day.

A member of Brown’s team, who was with him on February 12, tells us, “He stayed in his dressing room except to rehearse, perform, and go to the stage for his nominated categories.”

But kudos to the Star for at least getting right that both Rihanna and Brown rehearsed their Grammy performances.

    This tells me something. Those pictures of Rihanna’s was photoshop. I believe Rihanna wants to tell what really happened that night. Someone on her team had to be the ones who photoshop that picture so that Rihanna can become a triple megastar. I think Rihanna see how the haters are doing to Chris with all the names calling woman beater and Rihanna knows that’s not true. It was one fight and these hat in ass people calling him a woman beater SMH

    Thats it…defend a bunch of over-paid talentless jackasses, who have contributed nothing to society. The hit songs and the billboard music that is created nowadays, is not music. It is complete crap that requires no actual intelligence to create. So what do they receive as a result, millions of dollars that can be spent to actually better humanity as a whole. I hope they both beat the crap out of each other until they receive a fatal aneurysm.

    You do have to have intelligence to create the lyrics…… Just because you feel as though the songs have no message doesn’t mean there isn’t a message to other people. And that last sentence is rude and immature….

    Yeah he has… That’s all these claims about them dating/hooking up make no sense… i can’t remember the exact distance but it’s good distance that still allows them to both perform at the same award shows.

    Yes you do have to have intelligence to create lyrics for a song. Now whether that song is a good song is very debatable. Is Rihanna’s or Chris Brown’s music good, no, not at all. The only their music sends is “please give me more money for this crap I have created, the millions I have so far is still not enough”. They spend a couple of hours in a studio putting random words and sounds that make no sense. I sincerely hope that they take the Whitney Houston route and they both OD.

    You obviously are just throwing random comments together because if they spent only a few hours in the studio working on songs cds would be done much quicker and i know chris spends much more then a few hours working on a song. and some of chris’s songs do send actual messages that people can relate to and rihanna had songs people could relate to as well. you need jesus if you’re wishing death on people… God Bless!

    I don’t know about the star report, but other websites did say that they spent a total of 9 hours together over a period of two different days – Monday and Thursday I think. And if Rihanna said they were talking, wouldn’t that mean that they did indeed spend time together? Though I personally doubt they ‘hooked up’. too many other more private places they could do that.
