Rihanna Anti World Tour Announcement

Rihanna announced her “Anti World Tour” on Monday, and she’ll be mixing business with pleasure.

The singer will be joined by apparent beau Travis Scott for the North American leg of the tour, which will begin in February. For the European dates, Rihanna will have The Weeknd and Big Sean as her supporting acts. Tickets will go on sale December 3.

Rihanna revealed the news on Twitter, confirming recent reports that Samsung would sponsor the tour. The announcement came a few hours after the electronics company shared clips from the singer’s “Anti Diary” during the American Music Awards. The full diary video later debuted online.

Interestingly, Rihanna and Samsung are doing all this Anti promo and planning a tour without revealing a release date for the album. A number of rumored release dates have come and gone, while more recent speculation has suggested the record could exclusively premiere on Tidal on Friday. The album would later then be made available to iTunes and retail stores in December.

Rihanna didn’t attend Sunday’s American Music Awards, but she celebrated on Twitter Monday after finding out she won an award. “Congrats & thank you to the illest, we won another AMA! Thanks for voting & thank you AMAs for acknowledging me as #favoritefemalesoulrnb,” she tweeted. Whenever Anti is released, there’s probably many more awards in Rihanna’s futre.
