Ricky Gervais is mocking Caitlyn Jenner again, continuing to joke about her fatal car crash.

As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner was one of the many celebrities Gervais targeted with his Golden Globes monologue last Sunday. In the opening, the comedian referred to Jenner’s transition from male to female, and said she’s greatly helped challenge stereotypes, but “didn’t do a lot for women drivers.” That, of course, was a reference to Jenner’s February 2015 car accident that left one person dead.

Gervais received some blowback for the remarks, which he insisted on Tuesday were not transphobic and not a judgment of her transition, but merely a crack about her driving skills. On Thursday, Jenner broke her silence on the controversy during a TCA panel, where she was asked to comment. She told reporters, “I think what I’m gonna do is call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year, and we’ll solve that problem.”

Gervais didn’t catch wind of Jenner’s response until Friday morning, and now he’s taken to Twitter to make fun of her even more. “Please, please, please let her host The @goldenglobes. Just don’t let her drive,” the British star tweeted. And in response to Entertainment Weekly phrasing its headline on Twitter as “Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Her Silence On Ricky Gervais’ #GoldenGlobes Joke,” Gervais tweeted, “At last. She always brakes too late.”

Jenner indeed was accused of braking seconds too late during the crash, which caused a chain reaction. As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced in September, however, that she would not face any criminal charges because the District Attorney determined the former Olympian, who wasn’t speeding, did not act “unreasonably” or do anything illegal to warrant a conviction.
