Rich Homie Quan Surrenders To Miami Police After Punching Club Security Guard
Rich Homie Quan surrendered to Miami Beach Police on Wednesday, Gossip Cop confirms. The rapper is expected to be slapped with just a misdemeanor battery charge, stemming from an incident on March 23 outside the popular night club LIV at the Fountainbleau.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Quan and his pals tried to get into LIV via the club’s backdoor VIP entrance three weeks ago, but when told by the club’s security guard, Christian Cajigas, that it was filled to capacity and they’d have to wait, the rapper allegedly yelled angrily, “I’m Rich Homie Quan, and I’m a rich millionaire, b*tch.”
After Quan also name-dropped that he was “coming through these doors. I’m with Flo Rida,” and Cajigas still denied him and his entourage entry into LIV, that’s when, according to a police report, the rapper supposedly punched the guard twice in the face, bloodying his lip and breaking his nose.
Before the police arrived, Quan and his friends fled the scene and, claimed the guard, hopped onto an awaiting speedboat that was moored across the street from LIV.
Cajigas is expected to also file a civil suit against Quan. Gossip Cop will update when Quan is formally charged for attacking the security guard at LIV.
