REPORT: Rhys Ifans of “Spider-Man” Busted for Battery at Comic-Con

Rhys Ifans was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor battery for allegedly shoving a female security guard last night at Comic-Con.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” villain supposedly became upset when a member of his entourage was barred from entering the hall where Ifans was slated to participate in a panel for the movie, according to The Wrap.
The site reports that Ifans was permitted to join the panel (late), but spoke very little and was arrested afterward.
Other reports, however, indicate that while police were called, Ifans was never formally arrested for the incident.
In either case, he’s not currently in custody.
He plays the Lizard in the upcoming “Spider-Man.”
