Resident Evil: Retribution Beats Finding Nemo for Weekend Win

BOX OFFICEResident Evil: Retribution, the fifth installment in the hit sci-fi series starring Milla Jovovich, won the top spot at the box office with $21.1 million in ticket sales.
That was enough to beat the re-release of Finding Nemo, which took second with $17.5 million.
The horror flick The Possession came in a distant third place with $5.8 million.
The Shia LaBeouf-Tom Hardy bootlegging drama Lawless and ParaNorman took the fourth and fifth spots with $4.2 million and $3 million, respectively.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Sylvester Stallone’s action opus The Expendables 2 ($2.9 million), the Bradley Cooper-led ensemble literary meditation The Words ($2.8 million), The Bourne Legacy ($2.8 million), the The Odd Life of Timothy Green ($2.5 million), and political farce The Campaign ($2.4 million).
