It has been confirmed that the entire nicknamed cast of the MTV smash hit “Jersey Shore” has signed for a second season.
While not quite as riveting as the contract drama that played out over several weeks at NBC, the stalemate between the network and Snooki, The Situation, and America’s other Jersey sweethearts had reached the point where many observers believed replacements could be made.
Now a deal is done, though terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
MTV will air 12 new episodes this summer. And while the network won’t say where the cast is going, Gossip Cop is told the Jersey crew will be ditching the Garden State for a new, warmer locale.
Not that it really matters — their tans are fake anyway.
Gossip Cop would like to know in the comments section if you’ll be watching the second season of “Jersey Shore.”

Just a friendly FYI since you guys are sticklers for correct information: only ONE person from this cast is actually from New Jersey. The rest are from various places in NY State and one is from New Hampshire. Therefore it’s misleading for you to write “Gossip Cop is told the Jersey crew will be ditching their home state…” when it’s the home state for only one of them.
More of the Dumbing Down of America. Why anyone watches this tripe is beyond me. More talentless people becoming famous for no reason.
