Report: “Twilight” cast in “Lockdown”

From the wilds of Canada come more wild rumors about the cast of “Twilight.”
The journalists at the Star claim that David Slade, the director of “Eclipse,” has grown weary of his young stars’ “wild personal lives,” which are “casting a dark shadow on the film’s Vancouver set.”
According to the rag’s sources, Slade has put Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and other cast members “on lockdown, demanding they return to their hotel rooms when shooting wraps!” Why are the “Twilight” stars supposedly not allowed out past . . . twilight? Because they “were so busy partying, smoking and hooking up that they came to work looking like hell,” confides the Star‘s ‘insider.’
Hmm. Gossip Cop was a wee bit skeptical that a cast as closely watched as this one would be so out of control they needed a curfew. Turns out we were right to be.
A Summit Entertainment representative tells Gossip Cop “the idea that there is a lockdown is completely false.”
Maybe the Star‘s staffers are the ones who need to catch up on sleep.
