Could Conan O’Brien‘s exile from the small screen mean a leap to the big one?

According to a report, the upcoming 30-city live comedy/music tour O’Brien is putting together may be filmed for a documentary feature.

Deadline.com says plans for a movie version of “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour” have not been finalized, but that discussions are underway.

A film would not violate the terms of O’Brien’s exit agreement with NBC, which, as the tour’s title suggests, keeps the ex “Tonight Show” host from appearing on the air until the fall.

The “Legally Prohibited” tour begins next month.
