In a piece titled, “Renee Zellweger Dating John Mayer, But Why?!” Perez Hilton reports that “Zellweger is dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex, John Mayer.”

He then snarkily adds, “Zellweger seems to have a thing for Jen’s leftovers as she also dated Bradley Cooper.”

According to Perez, “Sources close to Renee reveal the two have been ‘quietly’ going on dates in Los Angeles and New York.”

Really?!

The blogger concludes his post by writing, “We’ll just have to wait to see if this works out.”

Wait is over.

Zellweger is NOT dating John Mayer.

They have NOT “quietly” — or even loudly — gone on dates in Los Angeles or New York.

Perez is WRONG again.

Zellweger’s rep tells Gossip Cop the report is “so not true.”

    Thank god. The woman is fabulously talented but enough with her disasters already. She needs to forget douchebag men, eat a burger (she’s super sexy with a few extra pounds) pick up a FAB movie script (perhaps Anistons Goree Girls) and stop trying so hard to be so hollywood. Renee could do with remembering that people loved her because she refused to sell herself to that lifestyle, we liked shy, sweet but totally talented Zellweger far more than the botoxed, hard posing, skeletal woman she has become. Where is her great friend John Carrabino? Where are her family and why is nobody stepping in to do something. Such a shame.

    She would have to be soooooo desperate to date him. He is an ARROGANT SELF CENTERED TWIT. Any guy(he doesn’t rate the title of MAN) that makes such unkind and personal remarks about women they’ve dated don’t deserve the attention of any decent woman. Ladies beware– he kisses and tells.
