Regina King “Oh Sh*t” “GMA” Video: Golden Globes Nominee Curses On Live TV While Reacting To Nomination — WATCH!
Regina King accidentally said “oh sh*t” on Thursday’s live broadcast of “Good Morning America.” The actress was talking about being nominated for a Golden Globe when she let the s-bomb slip. Watch the funny video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the nominations for the 2016 Golden Globes were announced earlier on Thursday, and King was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series/Miniseries/Film for the ABC drama “American Crime.” During a phone interview on “GMA” shortly after King received the news, the actress revealed she wasn’t even aware the nominations were being announced.
She explained how she told her publicist, “Don’t tell me the date that these happen. I want to put it out of my head.” But when she got the news, King had an expletive-laden reaction. The star said on “GMA,” “So when he called, I’m like, ‘Oh sh*t, what happened in L.A.?'”
The hosts of the morning show laughed, albeit uncomfortably, knowing full well that the actress’s curse just went out on live TV. “Sorry,” King exclaimed afterward. “Oh my god. I did not mean to do that.” Co-host Robin Roberts jokingly chided her, “Regina, we’re on network television.”
“American Crime” also nabbed Golden Globe nominations for Best Miniseries and Best Actress in a Miniseries for Felicity Huffman. King won an Emmy for the series in September, as Gossip Cop reported at the time. She’ll now have to wait until January to find out if she’ll also be victorious at the Golden Globes Awards. Watch King accidentally swear on live TV in the funny video below, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
