Reese Witherspoon And Ryan Phillippe Not Fighting Over Their Kids, Despite Report
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are not fighting over the kids, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the claim, which was published in one of this week’s tabloids. A rep for Phillippe says it’s entirely untrue.
According to Life & Style, an unknown attendee at the Coachella music festival just happened to overhear Phillippe trash-talking his ex-wife amidst all the loud music. The tabloid’s supposed “witness” claims Phillippe was cursing as he described how Witherspoon is allegedly trying to cut him out of their childrens’ lives. “She can’t f*cking do this. My kids are honor students and when they are with me they do their homework. I take good care of them,” notes the magazine’s source in a terribly made-up quote.
But that’s not all the tabloid’s source miraculously heard at the music festival. The so-called source for Life & Style says Phillippe was griping that Witherspoon feels he parties too much and “needs to start working again.”
The only one who “needs to start working” is the fact checker at Life & Style, who apparently missed that Phillippe has been starring in a much-hype TV show. Anyway, a rep for Phillippe exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “Ryan spends his time in production, promoting ‘Secrets + Lies,’ in the writer’s room or finalizing details for his new app Deedle. This perception of who he is, as portrayed in the tabloid media, has become a joke to us as it couldn’t be farther from the truth.”
