VIDEO: Reese Witherspoon and Benedict Cumberbatch Kiss For New York Times
Talk about Wild! Reese Witherspoon and Benedict Cumberbatch are spotted kissing at some kind of costume soiree for a new video that is part of the “9 Kisses” series shot for The New York Times. The clip debuted on Wednesday. In it, Witherspoon rips off Cumberbatch’s Zorro mask and things get steamy. Watch below!
It’s all part of The New York Times Magazine’s upcoming “Great Performers” issue, with a photo shoot featuring nine unexpected pairings of the year’s best performers in different kissing scenes. There’s a same-sex makeout starring Rosario Dawson and Jenny Slate, a passionate lip lock with Steve Carell and Laura Dern, and other embraces between John Lithgow and Julianne Moore, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Miles Teller, Kristen Stewart and Chadwick Boseman, David Oyelowo and Timothy Spall, and Patricia Arquette and Jason Schwartzman.
“We decided it would be all public spaces at night,” director Elaine Constantine says of the scenes. We wish random pairs of celebrities kissed each other all the time, instead of just for New York Times shoots and in the fevered imaginations of tabloid writers. The gorgeously shot “9 Kisses” photos will be on newsstands this weekend. Check out the video of Witherspoon and Cumberbatch kissing below, and tell us what you think!
