Reese Witherspoon 40th Birthday Party: Actress Sings At Star-Studded Bash (VIDEO)
Reese Witherspoon celebrated her 40th birthday early, and a slew of stars partied with her on Saturday night in Los Angeles. Witherspoon, who turns the big 4-0 on Tuesday, threw a bash at the Warwick lounge and everyone from Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston to Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey came out to help her usher in the milestone birthday. And not only did some of the celebrity guests perform for Witherspoon, but she also took to the stage to sing “Sweet Home Alabama.” See the video below.
Witherspoon, who starred in the 2002 film Sweet Home Alabama, at one point during her party hopped on stage and sang the song of the same name, accompanied by guest Keith Urban on guitar. In addition to the “American Idol” judge jamming, Swift also performed a mini-concert for the birthday girl, including singing her hit song “Shake It Off.”
Among the many other guests who celebrated with Witherspoon well into the early hours of Sunday morning were Justin Theroux, Nicole Kidman, Robert Downey Jr., Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman, Laura Dern, and Tobey Maguire.
