Dancing With The Stars Season 20 First Elimination – Redfoo Voted Off DWTS
Redfoo and Emma Slater were the first pair eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” after receiving the lowest number of votes during the premiere of Season 20. The pair had actually done very well during the show’s second episode, but the elimination was based on their first appearance. See video below of Redfoo being voted off.
Redfoo’s first dance last week received just 22 out of 40 points from the judges, but he and Slater truly impressed their judges and the crowd with their second dance on Monday, which garnered them a score of 31. That’s why, when they were shockingly eliminated, the audience erupted in loud boos.
Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe were in the bottom four and in danger of being eliminated, but ended up being safe as were Chris Soules and Witney Carson. It came down to Redfoo and Slater and Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani. But Somers was saved by 1/10 of 1 percent more votes for her than Redfoo.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, after the Season 20 premiere, Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy led the competition, followed closely by Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, and then Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough. On the other side of the scoreboard were Redfoo and Slater and McKinney and Motsepe, with Somers and Dovolani just a rung above them in points from the judges.
But in the end, Redfoo was sent packing, even though he had one of the higher scores in the dance competition’s second episode, with a spirited jive to The Knack’s “My Sharona.” What do you think about Redfoo and Slater being sent home first? See video below of Redfoo’s elimination.
