Red Hot Chili Peppers will join Bruno Mars for the Super Bowl halftime show on February 2.

The news was announced during the broadcast of Saturday’s NFC Divisional Round playoff game.

Mars will headline this year’s halftime extravaganza at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey — the first outdoor cold-weather Super Bowl site ever.

He and the Chili Peppers will be following in the footsteps of Beyonce (2013), Madonna (2012) and the Black Eyed Peas (2011).
