Raii And Whitney Smith “America’s Got Talent” Audition Video: Husband And Wife Singers Wow – WATCH!
Raii and Whitney Smith wowed with both their singing and their chemistry on “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday. Watch below!
The Smiths have been married for five years after meeting through a gospel group at the University of Illinois. They currently work as background singers for “amazing artists all over the world,” including Alicia Keys and Estelle. But now the duo was hoping to put their own vocals in the spotlight.
Together they sang Marvin Gaye’s “You’re All I Need.” By the end, they were in tears by the positive reception. Mel B even said “hands down” that they’re one of her favorite singing acts this season. “I have to say you are both amazing singers, completely pitch-perfect,” the Spice Girls star told them.
Heidi Klum said, “I think you guys are a fantastic duo. I love that you’re a married couple singing together.” Howie Mandel thought they were a “great throwback.” He further noted, “There isn’t anybody like you.”
And Simon Cowell, perhaps the harshest music critic of all, told The Smiths, “You started quite normally and I thought this was a little bit karaoke, but in the middle you both let it rip and that’s when I thought, ‘My god, you can really sing!'” Check out the full video below!
