Amanda Knoxs ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito opened up about his new murder conviction in the death of Meredith Kercher on Monday’s “Anderson 360.” See the video below.

Sollecito told Anderson Cooper, “I’m guilty just because in their [the jury and judges’] minds I have to be guilty because I was her boyfriend. It doesn’t make any sense to me.” He added, “I’m not saying that Amanda is responsible for all this situation, but they focus on her and they accuse her all the time, but I have nothing to do with all these circumstances and all these accusations.”

Sollecito went on to say, “I don’t know what to think, because objectively, there’s nothing against me and nothing very strong against Amanda.” As Gossip Cop reported, Sollecito and Knox were found guilty of Kercher’s murder by an Italian Supreme court on January 30. She was sentenced to 28 years in prison, while he received a 25-year sentence. Knox will likely not face extradition in the United States, but Sollecito will have to fight the conviction as he is an Italian citizen. The saga involving the young American and her murdered roommate made headlines across the globe.
