RADAR IS OFF ON GEORGE LOPEZ FUNERAL STORY

RadarOnline claims that George Lopez’s family “is furious at the comedian” after he “secretly buried” his grandmother, Benita Gutierrez, without their knowledge. The piece cites Lopez’s sister as saying, “He didn’t let any of us know – [his] sisters, nephews and nieces are all heartbroken.”
So how could the family sitcom star let his grandmother down?
He didn’t. A rep for Lopez tells Gossip Cop, “George had supported his grandmother for the past 21 years,” including round-the-clock care over the past six.
The reason no family members attended Gutierrez’s burial and service was because Lopez was “adhering to her wishes as she had specified.” She simply had asked Lopez to be buried “quickly and with no service.”
Actually, it sounds to Gossip Cop like George Lopez was a dutiful, loving grandson right through the end.
