LeRoy outsang Marcus a few weeks ago on the save me song and the judges voted him off anyway. to all of those who have said do not blame Nicole but the voters… I read a article a little bit ago that I agree with… Up till the final 4 the Judges decide on the bottom two that goes home… It is that way according to the article I read from x factor because sometimes we believe there is no way that the one we believe will make it will not go though so we either do not vote or get busy and forget to vote.. thus its left up to the judges to correct that mistake up till the semi-finals.. and tonight there was One Judge … being Nicole that did not correct how America who were fan’s of Rachel’s either did not vote or got busy and forgot to vote…. so you can blame it on the voters all you like the Point is it is Nicole that makes the big MONEY to make the right decisions based on Performance and SHE DIFFERENTLY DID NOT.. and I hope that after this Season is over that SImon sends her packing she cannot Judge because she is all about Emotion and has no respect for Great Talent

Time and time again you have these people who think with their help the singer can blossom. Problem with that is singers like Rachel and Josh do not need help. They were both stiff as boards in a few of their performances when they should have been given the freedom to do what got them on the show in the first place. And for that I blame the mentor. First, I am among the array of people who think Rachel out sang Marcus tonight. I am not, however, on accordance with the people who are complimenting Rachel by cutting down Marcus. The kid can sing and is. Eh charismatic. I also doubt that Rachel would appreciate hearing bad things about him.
Secondly, I think Nicole voted as she saw fit. I think it’s funny that people think she was spineless to go to a deadlock seeing as how the crowd behind her was chanting “Rachel” and she still stuck to HER guns and said that Marcus and Rachel were equals in her eyes. The judges exist so that each one can cast his or her vote as he or she see fit. Clearly, Nicole thought that America should get the final say since she was neutral. That’s not spineless to me.
*As for her reaction to Rachel leaving tonight, I think she was saddened when she saw Rachel collapse and sob. I am almost certain she assumed Rachel had more of America’s votes and was a little shocked, but I also think that Nicole didn’t want to be the reason either contestant went home.
Thirdly, Marcus has been in the bottom three times, but we know that the first time he was saved by America’s votes (against Leroy). We don’t know if Drew got the lowest number of votes or not since Paula sent Drew home. Considering we now know Marcus was merely the second least voted for contestant twice, against initial favourites might I add, who’s to say that Marcus wouldn’t have gotten America’s vote last week too? Tonight he beat out Rachel and nobody expected that.
Lastly, I doubt he’ll win – based on voting and personal opinion, but people need to lay off of Nicole, stop making fun of him, and vote for the people who in their minds should go through.

I remember last week when Drew was eliminated people on this board was angry and said that Paula/Nicole should make it a deadlock instead of out right voting against Drew. She went with deadlock this week and she’s getting beaten up for it. You could see it was very difficult for her to chose so she went into deadlock. She thought, like I did, and probably like many others that Marcus would have the lowest vote and would be voted off. It didn’t work that way. Both Marcus and Rachel are good singers. I like Rachel like everyone on this board and just as shocked that she was the one with the lowest vote. I thought for sure Marcus was going home. But to go off and blame Nicole is just wrong.

Sure Rachel got the least amount of votes, NOBODY IS DENYING THAT. People are upset because this they have “a singing for survival” for the bottom 2 so the judges make the ultimate decision. So it’s based on the performance during that sing-off that the judges make a decision on who goes home. It is OBVIOUS that the final sing-off didn’t mean anything for Nicole cause she didn’t use to judge the contestants. Hopefully Melanie and Josh make it to the end. They are true talent. Natural Talent. Just as Rachel was. Back to Nicole, she is a bogus punkass judge. I was thinking last night I know Simon is kicking himself for bringing to her to the show. SHe is no Jo-Lo. SHe isnt even Paula. LA could go. Nicole could go. Bring in someone who can truly judge a music competition.

I voted for rachel, so i was a little disappointed that she got voted off…i truly believe nicole made a bad decision but ultimately it came down to Americas vote, she didn’t have the most, people getting mad with nicole, get mad with yourself for not voting for her,i am pretty sure the main people who are in a uproar about this DIDN’T VOTE FOR RACHEL AT ALL!! I truly believe with a voice and personality like hers Disney is going to sign her and she will probably make more than the winner on xfactor….

what’s the point of singing a SAVE song and the american public voted for the previous night songs…. They either need to get rid of one of the judges or add one more so the decision can be unanimous

Everyone thats saying it wasnt Nicoles fault and that it was Americas fault doesn’t get it. Nicole was at fault because what she said when she voted for Marcus was that Rachel was not good. That set the chain of events that led to AMerican voting. It didnt even have to go there had Nicole done her job and not purposefully cause the deadlock. Everyone knows Marcus was not the one that night. He did not out-sing Rachel. But as Lovinjr19 said, Disney will be knocking on her door the moment X-Factors contact is done. Thats exactly what i hasd told my sister that very night. I can see her doing the Hannah Montana, Oh So Raven type show. Wouldn’t be surprised if Simon will in some way be a part of her camp. Screw Nicole and Screw Marcus cuz he doesnt have the talent that young Rachel has.

Yes there is……..the last female: Melanie Amaro. Since the beginning, I’ve known that if anyone else in the competition had a shot of winning besides Rachel, it would be HER!
And like the video comment says it WASN’T entirely Nicole’s fault. She said she didn’t want to vote either of them off so she left it to the viewers.

Rachel got eliminated because Nicole Scherzinger is useless. She was afraid she would get slammed by fans of either contestant, so she took the coward’s way out and let it go to deadlock. Rachel had the lower vote tally, as it turned out – probably because people thought she was safe, understandably – and Marcus squeeked thru – barely.

I think Scherzinger figured Rachel would go thru anyway because Marcus was in the Bottom Two for the THIRD TIME! The look on her face and all the boo hooing when she realized she’d thrown Rachel under the bus said it all. I used to like her, but I don’t like what I’ve seen of her since she’s been on XF. Waste of space.

Nothing against Marcus, but he can’t sing a note in tune and is not all that talented. He always looks like a scared rabbit who is looking around for the hook to pull him off the stage the whole time he’s up there. He should have gone home well before Drew, Rachel, etc. Another waste of space.

THE VOTING WAS BASED ON WHAT THEY SANG ON THURSDAY, SO AMERICA SHOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY. IT WAS LEFT UP TO THE JUDES. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD 5 JUDGES NOT 4 SO THEY WOULD NOT BE A TIE. AND THEY ALSO SHOULD LET THE JUDGES VOTE PRIVATELY SO NO WILL NO WHO VOTED FOR WHOM. IT WAS NICOLE AND LA’S FALT NOT AMERICA. THEY HAD THE FINIALLY VOTE ON WHO WILL STAY AND LEAVE. THEY BOTH KNOW THAT RACHEL WAS THE BEST. THEY NEED JUDGES THAT ARE GOING TO VOTE FOR THE PERSON THAT CAN PROFORM THE BEST NOT, THE ONE WHO THEY MENTORED. I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE END OF RACHEL.

How can you call some random guy you saw on American Idol an idiot? He has true talent. All of your insults show signs of ignorance.

Nicole did not do her job. She is supposed to be a judge. She may have ruined Josh’s changes on the show. LA Reid ALWAYS votes for his own contestants, as does Simon. This gives Paula and Nicole way too much power. Paula does not have a contestant left. The contestants “save me” songs mean nothing because none of the judges really judge each contestant based on the save me song. There is hardly any doubt that Rachel was better than Marcus Thursday night. It is obvious that Nicole decided to go for a deadlock because she (like most of us) thought for sure that Marcus would be the one to go. BUT the voters didn’t vote according to the save me song and Marcus had two good songs and Rachel really only had one. THAT is why he got to stay on the show. Marcus is an ok singer but he is much too much like so many young male singers today. He needs to make himself more special. Rachel, on the other hand, is very original and one can’t help but be amazed at her ability to sing even the most adult songs with emotion and personality. She will be a star very soon.

Is this show really based on talent or on which judge can push his own contestant to the final? I think the judges want to win more than they want the best contestant to win. Simon defintely needs to change the format of this show if he is smart.

Wake up Mosesviii..This program was setup using the judges to make their vote after the sing-off..Othewise they would just go with the votes like “American Idol”. In the last segment, the judges vote supersedes the call-in votes..Only they do hot have the guts to do their job, especiallyLA, who IS NOT a man of principle. Isn’t this supposed be a SINGING contest ???
