That was a VERY hard decision. I don’t think I would have been able to make a decision either. I will say this, WHEN Rachel Crow album releases, I WILL be one of MANY who will purchase it on the RELEASE DATE! She’s just AWESOME and I know she is a STAR who will be TIMELESS and will be around for a very long time!

She was put in a tough position & didn’t want to send neither of them home. I think I would have sent it into deadlock also, they’re both amazing singers. She made the smart choice by letting the votes decide their fate.
I know that Rachel Crow will make it big, it wasn’t meant for her to win this competition. I can see her doing many more things than just singing, I know she’ll be successful in whatever she decides to do.

Lets face it the wrong person went home on xFactor there is no ifs or but about it .

Unfortunately people did not pick up the phone to vote for Rachel. If they had, last night would have turned out completely different.

Nicole sucks! Last night was NOT a hard decision. Rachel blew the audience away!!! Nicole punked out when it came time to vote and it ended up causing Rachel to go home.

Golddigger- it wasn’t a hard decision for you because you didn’t like Marcus singing. Anyone with unbiased ears and eyes knows that Marcus blew that child away. His range, style, vocals etc. He can outsing any singer out there today. It was Rachel’s time. She isn’t ready for this business. She is not 10 years old. She is the same age as Drew and Astro and what she did last night falling to the floor shows she is not ready.

Nicole is at fault plain and simple…she can’t make a decision then she shouldn’t be a judge. I’m kinda glad this happened now…I will not waste another minute of my time watching this show.

Rachel is not the same age as Astro and Drew – she is only 13 compared to the nearly 15yo Drew and the 15yo Astro. Her reaction was because it was not expected that she’d go home – she knew, as did everyone else, that she nailed that song and outsang Marcus by a long way. Rachel’s range is far greater than Marcus’ and her style is far more unique. In years to come it’s Rachel who will prove the bigger star.

ok really juvenile comments are not warranted. save the space for some constructive opinions….. I think that Racheal is very talented and regardless of what happened will do well as Simon will step up and take care of her. As for Nicole, I think that she has trouble with decision making and maybe needs to rethink being in any role that requires that skill. Its unfair to the fans and most importantly to the people who are trying to move forward in their careers to take a “pass” when the decisions get tough. That is the job you sign on to do and you need to find the strength to do exactly that. Im not a Nicole hater, but I don’t respect soemone who is so indecisive. I also have trouble with someone “in the buis” being so dramatic so as to take away from the pain/distress and or suffering of the contestants who clearly need the floor for closure. Egos have no place on the show when they override the feelings of the contestants. Be professional and save the emotions for after the show.

it wasnt such a hard decision…! it wldve been hard if it was the first time for both marcus and rachel, but it wasnt. marcus has been on the botton like 3 times in a row :(

You must be deaf.Are you serious! She sung circles around him in the sing off.You must be listening to him with something other than your ears.She may be only 13 but she sang that song from her soul.She was singing like she knew what that song really meant.That is the definition of an artist.Someone who can take something that they don’t fully know about and turn it into magic and that is what she did.Everybody felt that child’s spirit that night.You can defend the decision but at least be real.You can’t really believe that he can out sing a number of artist out today.I can name five right off the top of my head who would he can’t even touch.As far as age talent doesn’t doesn’t have an age just do your research.She was upset and rightfully so.This was not a hard decision.Canty even said he thought he was the one that was going to be chosen to go home.If he can be honest about it why can’t you and why couldn’t Nicole.Yes I did vote for her and Melanie both.Our votes are not supposed to save them in the sing off.If that is how the judges are going to play things they need to pay the public for doing their job.Futhermore if she was so upset the last thing I want is camera around that was just her way of trying to do damage control because she knew in her heart she screwed up and screwed the real talent.You speak about Crowe’s age but this 13 year old was running around comforting everyone else especially the woman who instead of saying I am sorry I couldn’t do my job ,what I am paid to do no instead she says I didn’t send you home “babe”.Yes Nicole was classless and phony up to the very end.Another thing please help me understand how letting the audience decide his fate when she thought he was the weakest that night was going to give him any kind of dignity.If anything this makes him win worse because everybody knew when they did their sing off songs that Crowe outsang him.Hearing evryone chanting for Crowe told the real story and that couldn’t have helped his confidence.They try to do damage control but the damage is done and the show is a joke that has probably lost many viewers.So much for talent!

Why do people keep saying that.People vote but that is only part of the show.The peoples votes only gets a certain amount of people into the next round.Either way their is still going to be two people in the bottom two.That is where the judges come in.That is what they are paid to do if they can’t they shouldn’t be paid.People really need to look up the defintion of job.It didn’t matter who was in the bottom two she had a job to do and didn’t do it.Period point blank.If she can’t do it now when it is really going to get harder what makes you think she is going to be able to later.She took the cowards way out and that is why people are mad.She claims she loved them both but loving someone is being honest with them and she wasn’t.That is why people are mad.People aren’t thinking this could have been very well have been a tie then what would she have done.People wouldn’t be so upset if this was truly a hard decision.For me(and yes I voted for both girls) it had nothing to do with age this was about talent and she out shined him the sing off.She just did a better job and Nicole screwed her.This is a show about talent and if she or any of the judges are going to cope out instead of taking their job seriously they need to do away with the judges and just have a host and let the people decide.They could save alot of money instead of paying judges to just sit there and comment them not do their job.She didn’t Marcus any favors either because he even said he thought he was going home.If you love someone you help them improve and be honest with them.He has to go back out their with the memory of people chanting Crowe’s name and the boos the gave Nicole because she didn’t do her job.Now if he stays or goes home next week he doesn’t know if it is based on talent or sympathy.People being mad at her goes alot deeper.If she was really torn up I don’t think she would have wanted the cameras around for her one on one with Crowe.That in the business is what they call publicity,damage control but I just call it pathetic and fake.That is why people are mad.

I think as a judge she should have made a decision. I think she assumed America had more votes for Rachel and just didnt wanna be the bad guy to send Marcus home. I think she was devastated that Rachel was the one eliminated and for that I feel bad for her but she should have made the decision to send Marcus home if that is who she wanted gone. I love my lil Rachel and it tore me up but I am not “mad” at Nicole….just hope she learns from this and makes a real vote in the future and not chicken out to let aamerica do her job.

Marcus is a good kid, I’m sure, but he looks like a scared rabbit every time he gets on the stage and he can’t sing in tune to save his life. It’s not a fluke he was in the Bottom for the 3rd week in a row. People were done w/ him and wanted him gone. Unfortunately, because he was in the Bottom, Scherzinger AND the public thought he was a sure thing for the dumpster and also felt Rachel had to be safe. Scherzinger copped out and Rachel fell through the cracks. Wouldn’t have happened if Scherzinger had done her job and used her head for something besides a hat rack and done the obvious – send Canty home. I hope they find another judge to replace her next season. She’s not cut out for this. She wants everyone to like her far too much.

I’m glad that Rachel went home. She is too young to be up there to begin with. Remember, she was sent home because she had the least amount of votes. Someone will most likely pick her up, and if people really love her like they say, then she will make it big. I also think she is too emotional and annoying. Why did she stand there acting all ok with the decision and then all of the sudden busted out with some wailing sound. I think a lot of its an act.
