Viewers of “America’s Got Talent” know what an insanely gifted performer Johnson is. He received two standing ovations during the show’s season finale in September. Mel B called him a “joy to watch,” adding, “You’re only 12 and you sing with that much emotion and passion. That’s a true superstar right there.”
Heidi Klum told the boy, “It has been a joy watching you blossom on this stage… You are a true phenomenon.” Howard Stern added, “There’s so many performers that are much older that you who could never match your coolness, calmness.” And Howie Mandel observed, “You are a star.”
Johnson proved it on another big stage on Thursday, dazzling the Bears-Lions crowd with his powerful performance of the national anthem. Check out the video below, and tell us what you think! There’s a 30-second clip of the ending, as well as a full video of the whole song.
