Quintavious Johnson, 12, Kills Again on AGT, Howie Mandel Says He “Should Win This Thing” — WATCH VIDEO HERE!
Etta James and a 12-year-old boy are two things that don’t often go together, but on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent,” Quintavious Johnson proved they could be a million-dollar-worthy combination.
Performing the James classic “I’d Rather Go Blind” to close the semifinals, Johnson’s insanely powerful voice earned him an enthusiastic standing ovation from all the judges for the second round in a row.
Heidi Klum told him, “Quintavious, your name is as unique as your talent. It’s absolutely amazing. You’re 12 years old and you’re such a powerhouse already.”
Mel B could only manage to exclaim “You’ve just got it” three times.
“Your jacket says it all. You are golden,” Howie Mandel told the tween, before declaring, “You should win this thing. Please vote, America.”
And Howard Stern pointed out, “You taught everyone a lesson tonight. Only 12 years old and you taught people how to sell an act and how to sell a song.”
“America, vote Quintavious. He deserves it,” he added.
