In the Strange But True files comes this bit of news: Lady Gaga is slated to perform for Queen Elizabeth II at the annual Royal Variety Performance on December 7 at Blackpool’s Opera House Theatre.
No word yet whether Lady Gaga, who’s known as much for outrageous outfits as she is for her vocals, will tone down her dress for her Royal Highness.
Also slated to perform at the event, which raises money for the Queen’s Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund, are Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midler and Michael Buble.
Yes, we can just see Her Majesty bopping to “Poker Face.”
