Prince William And Prince Harry Visit ‘Star Wars’ Set – SEE PHOTOS!
Prince William and Prince Harry visited the set of Star Wars: Episode VIII at Pinewood Studios on Tuesday in London, where the two royals met the cast and crew of the film, and even engaged in a lightsaber battle. See a photo gallery below!
The official Twitter account of Kensington Palace noted that the Duke of Cambridge and the Prince were stopping by the set of the sci-fi sequel to “recognize the wealth of British creative talent involved in producing the Star Wars films.” Presumably, the royal brothers are also big fans of the franchise.
The pictures below feature the two men meeting the film’s stars, Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and even Chewbacca, to whom Prince Harry gave a big hug. Meanwhile, Prince William made a friend in Force Awakens droid BB8, while Prince Harry got some piloting advice from Luke Skywalker (Hamill) himself.
The royals also met the film’s director, Rian Johnson, and were given a tour of the studio and got to check out some of the movie’s props and costumes. Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is still without an official subtitle, hits theaters on December 15, 2017. Check out a photo gallery below of Prince William and Prince Harry’s visit to the film’s set!
