Prince William And Kate Middleton Take George, Charlotte On Ski Vacation (PICS)
The royal family traveled to the French Alps for the holiday. In photographs taken last Thursday but not released until Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have their children all bundled up for the snowy weather. They posed for portraits as snowflakes fell all around.
In other less formal shots, William and Middleton show they still have their youthful spirit as they goof around with each other in the snow. Presumably they were joined by the kids’ nanny, whose help with the tots allowed mom and dad to have some playtime of their own. Kensington Palace tweeted Monday morning, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photos of their family enjoying a short ski break.”
“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children have played in the snow,” the statement continued. “The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy these photos. PA Royal Photographer John Stillwell was invited to take the photographs of this happy family moment.”
The family adventure comes nearly a month after Gossip Cop debunked a tabloid story that falsely claimed Middleton was pregnant with twins. If she was actually expecting, she most definitely would not have gone on a ski trip. The vacation also marks the first time photos of Charlotte, who is now 10 months old, have been shared since last November.
George, 2, is probably too young to understand that his parents made almost annual trips to the French Alps while they were dating. It’s heartwarming, though, to see that the tradition is not just continuing, but also expanding with the next generation. Check out the photos below!
