Prince William Visits Malta In Place Of Sick Kate Middleton, Says She’s Feeling ‘So-So’
The Duke of Cambridge made the journey in Kate’s place, reportedly telling locals, “She’s so-so, she’s up and down at the moment.”
William told Maltese president Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca that his wife was “so sad not to be here.”
He also joked about his son Prince George’s absence, observing, “Malta may not survive George,” noting “there’s too many precious things here.”
The baby prince was “being looked after very well,” said William.
He and Kate revealed her second pregnancy earlier this month.
The official royal trip to the island coincides with the 50th anniversary of Malta’s independence from Britain.
