Prince William NOT Favoring Charlotte Over George, Despite Report
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Middleton is “worried her husband is favoring one child over the other” after comments Prince William made during a visit last week to the National Football Museum in Manchester, England. Prince William told members of England’s women’s soccer team that “Charlotte is the one who shows more aptitude” for the game, while “George is sort of getting into it slowly.” The site claims Middleton is now “upset” over her husband’s remarks, and alleges this isn’t the first time the future king has supposedly “shaded his own son.”
The webloid contends Prince William previously griped that Prince George is “spoiled” and “a lot to handle at home.” What’s more, the outlet alleges the Duke of Cambridge recently “moaned and complained about how both Prince George and Princess Charlotte don’t have much of an attention span” compared to other children, which CDL twists to mean he’s “frustrated with his home life.” The site then takes a cheap shot by claiming Prince William is as uninterested in parenting as his father Prince Charles was until Princess Diana’s death “forced him to be more involved in their lives.”
Of course, the entire article is ridiculous. Prince William does not favor one child over another. His comments about Prince George being “a lot to handle,” and the kids not having “much of an attention span” has zero to do with his love for one or the other, and 100 percent about how children in general three years of age or younger behave. And Middleton is not concerned about favoritism either. A royal insider assures Gossip Cop the webloid’s story is completely “not true.”
Unfortunately, we are not surprised by this fabricated report. Among the many stories from CDL that Gossip Cop has busted was a recent claim that wrongly alleged Middleton was forcing Prince William into getting a makeover. Much like that bogus contention, the latest one about Prince William favoring one child over the other is equally untrue.
