William and Catherine to Grace July Cover of Vanity Fair

Prince William and Catherine Middleton are set to grace the July cover of Vanity Fair, reports the New York Post.

The cover was shot by Mario Testino, who took the royal couple’s official engagement picture and photographed William’s mother, Princess Diana, for a series of portraits that ran in the magazine 14 years ago in the July 1997 issue.

The July issue of Vanity Fair will hit newsstands next week, shortly before the newly ennobled Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in L.A. for a visit.

In addition to a never-before-seen photo of William and Kate, the Vanity Fair spread features photos Diana, Prince Harry, and Prince Charles.

    Personally I think Vanity Fair is a loathsome, silly, useless, ridiculous magazine but I think I will buy this copy. I like William and Catherine. I do hope the story is reasonably good and well written, which would be a first for VF!
