Prince Harry is not rushing to marry Meghan Markle because he’s afraid his royal family will “scare her off,” despite a fake news story. Gossip Cop can debunk this manufactured claim. We’re told it’s “rubbish.”

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Prince Harry is looking to “take the next step” with Markle “before the royals scare her off. The outlet also states the redheaded royal is in a “rush to get a ring on her finger before she changes her mind” and returns to Canada, where she shoots the USA Network series “Suits.” So, how are the royals scaring her off? The website doesn’t mention that. And who’s saying Prince Harry’s relatives are scaring Markle off? The outlet doesn’t seem to know that either. In fact, the often discredited site offers no proof whatsoever to back up its claim that was seemingly designed for no other reason than to get traffic.

With nothing to bolster its premise, CDL then cites a number of other webloids and tabloids, speculating when Prince Harry may pop the question to his girlfriend of under a year. Still, the outlet bizarrely contends that Prince Harry is “house-hunting with his girlfriend,” and is looking to make his home with her (and one day their kids) somewhere in South Africa. “He feels she’s the right one… to live with on a wild safari reserve.” The only thing a wild safari and the website’s story have in common is they’re both full of dung.

Gossip Cop fact-checked the site’s claims, and we’re assured Prince Harry and his girlfriends are not rushing to get married because he’s afraid his royal family is going to “scare off” Markle. And the two are not moving to South Africa. It’s all untrue. An actual royal insider tells Gossip Cop the website’s article is complete “rubbish.”

Interestingly, the unreliable blog forgot just two weeks ago that it (wrongly) claimed Markle was urging Prince Harry to move to Los Angeles. It’s also the same webloid that falsely reported a few months ago that Prince Harry and Markle had split up. If nothing else, CDL is consistent, albeit consistently wrong. Much like those articles and many more about the royals, the latest one that alleges Prince Harry is rushing to lock it down with Markle because he fears his family will scare her off is also false.
