I understand that Josh, but there is nothing funny about it or any excuse that would make any sane person who has respect for, wear that disgusting part symbol that symbolizes an horrific time in our history. There were a million/billion other things Harry could’ve wore to that party, he chose that one of all things! That says a lot about him, and he is no prince in my eyes. I don’t harbor ill will against him, but I find him classless compared to William, and that is my opinion and I’m entitled to it. That symbol is disgusting no matter how you want to spin it. i actually have to agree with Josh here. I’ve seen people dress up like a terrorist, or Osama Bin Laden and NO ONE was in an uproar over these costumes…

I agree with twilight is underneath kstew, it was a classless thing to do, especially for a royal. harry was younger and thoughtless at the time. he was given a tongue lashing by his father and many many others for his foolish behaviour and I think he then realized that to many people who suffered thru the nazi regime, seeing him in that costume, brought back horrible memories. you do know that his costume/uniform represented an infamous time in history.

osama isnt in the same league as hitler. although he would have been if the us didnt stop him and then kill him. seeing someone dressed up as osama at halloween is amusing, especially now that he is dead. I’ve never seen anyone dressed as hitler at either halloween or any costume party. I think harry was the first royal to do it and it was stupid. having said that, I like harry and I think he is a decent fellow. I also think he is sexy, charming, gorgeous and a real daredevil. william is more controlled, but william will be king. diana would have been thrilled with both of them.

Osama IS in the same league in my eyes…Hitler wanted Jews dead…Osama wanted Americans dead…nothing different in that…and Hitler would have been stopped by someone but he decided to kill himself…..also, i don’t see how seeing someone dressed up as Osama is “amusing” for those who were affected by 9/11

hitler killed 6 million jews and also gypsies and just about anyone else he could. hitler particularly loved murdering jewish children. osama didnt get that far. america understood exactly what he was and put him under surveillance. he was going to die, just a matter of when. if you have seen people wearing an osama costume that means they are going out to a party to have fun and I guess its amusing. remember the joy when people heard he was dead. they laughed clapped and sang. I havent seen anyone wearing a hitler costume at a party and especially not a royal. thats why it was so shocking and in such bad taste. once harry got sent to afghanistan and got some focus, he settled down.

whether or not people were in an uproar about it doesn’t make what they wore right either, those people are just as classless.

Josh, stop making it seem as if I am blaming Harry for the Holocaust and we don’t know what he has said before in the privacy among his friends etc. I’m not saying he is anti Semitic but that outfit was tacky, and classless.

I agree, with the exception that I think anyone who dresses like Bin Laden is classless as well. I give them both credit for doing things with their lives, and they both have done charity work. I’ve just always found William as the more mature one, who has remained classy. He reminds me of his mother in so many ways. I can see William as king, he is a fine man.

just to point out, Harry has made some racist comments before particulary calling someone a “r-head.” so yes there has been some history that has questioned his character is all I’m saying.

william will make a wonderful king and the british people really like him and kate. the majority of brits dont want charles and camilla, but charles believes its his destiny to be king. william could wait many years before he wears the crown.
