Prince Harry is NOT having “secret dates” with Pippa Middleton, despite a report that actually has no evidence whatsoever to back up the claim. Gossip Cop can bust the story.

According to OK!, “Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry have long been enraptured in a ‘secret romance’ behind closed doors, but their public rendezvous spot has been uncovered — and it’s conveniently located right near the brunette beauty’s home!” The tabloid claims the royal “was spotted at The Cross Keys pub in London on April 1,” and notes “the bar is located adjacent to Pippa’s residence in the Chelsea neighborhood.”

“Pippa conveniently lives across the street. That’s probably why he’s there. He’s known to hang out at this pub a lot and they hang out here together,” a so-called “source” is quoted as saying. The supposed “eyewitness” goes on to claim that Prince William was seen “looking totally chill with [his] boys.”

And yet it’s never actually said that Middleton was there, too, and there’s no photographic evidence of the pair ever being there “together.” To suggest that Prince William merely visiting an establishment near her “flat” is proof of “rendezvous” and a relationship when there’s absolutely no other evidence is quite the stretch. In fact, OK! even starts backing away from its theory by noting, “There’s another reason besides Middleton that Harry frequents this bar, which is a good distance away from the Palace.”

“The owner of The Cross Keys, Mark Dyer, was good friends with his mother, Princess Diana,” writes the outlet, with its “source” going on to point out that Prince Harry “comes here and to [Dyer’s] other two pubs quite often.” And that has nothing to do with Middleton.

The bottom line is this: Prince Harry and Middleton are not having “secret dates” at this bar or anywhere else. Gossip Cop previously corrected OK! for spreading such nonsense in a cover story last December. Of course, it’s hard to take the tabloid seriously when it’s the same outlet that claimed in 2012 Middleton wanted to become a “Beverly Hills housewife.”
