The royally cute moment came before the President and First Lady’s dinner with Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry at Kensington Palace on Friday. “Prince George thanks @BarackObama for his rocking horse, given to him when he was born,” the Palace tweeted.

On Friday evening, the President and First Lady arrived at Kensington Palace, where they first posed with Prince Harry, Prince William and Middleton. The men all looked in dapper in blue suits, while Middleton wore a floral print dress, and the First Lady sported a trench over a lace dress. After taking a number of photos, the group relaxed before their meal, chatting in one of the Palace’s regal rooms. Obama was seen talking to Prince William, and the First Lady, seated next to Middleton on a couch, was photographed listening to Prince Harry.

The Obamas met with early on Friday with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Palace and gifted the monarch, who celebrated her 90th birthday on Thursday, with a photo album that chronicles her numerous visits with various U.S. Presidents and First Ladies over the years.
