The cast of “Pretty Little Liars” reunited at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on Sunday, where they did they their own version of Ellen DeGeneres’ epic Oscars selfie.
“Recreating oscar selfie with #pll cast at the Dolby theater. In the same place as @theellenshow -the spirit of social media :) love to the fans,” Keegan Allen wrote on Instagram.
The stars teased Tuesday’s season 4 finale before a crowd of devoted fans, revealing that the episode will include a flashback to the pilot and the night that Allison (Sasha Pieterse) went missing.
“It was like deja vu seeing everyone in their costumes,” said Lucy Hale. “The girls have come so far in four seasons so we had to backtrack and be like, ‘Oh, none of this has happened.’ It was when we were still innocent and naïve about everything.”
Creator I. Marlene King also noted that the finale sets up “a whole new show because there are five Pretty Little Liars now” with Allison’s full-on return to Rosewood.
“It’s going to affect them all individually. It’s going to affect them as a group. It’s going to affect their relationships with their young male and female partners,” said King. “Season 5 is shaping up to be emotionally the most complex season we’ve had so far.”
Tyler Blackburn will also return as a regular now that “Ravenswood” was canceled.
The new season begins filming next week.
After the event, Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and more of the cast shared personal snapshots online.
