“Pretty Little Liars” Reenacted By NFL Stars On Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show”
“Pretty Little Liars” was pricelessly reenacted by NFL stars Ryan Fitzpatrick and Prince Amukamara on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Watch below!
Fallon was doing a segment in which he read fan inquiries from a suggestion box, including one that said, “Hey Jimmy. It’s the end of the NFL season, but it’s the beginning of a new season of ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ You should do something that combines the two.” The host said he welcomed the idea, and happened to have Fitzpatrick, the New York Jets quarterback, and Amukamara, the New York Giants cornerback, on hand to participate.
With a deathly-serious straight face, Amukamara announced, “I’ll be playing the role of Alison, the ‘it girl’ of Rosewood’s teen social circle.” Fitzpatrick said, “And I’ll be playing the role of Spencer. She’s Alison’s rich and competitive best friend.” And even before the two athletes put on their wigs, Fallon was already cracking up.
Fitzpatrick and Amukamara then acted out a scene from the 2010 pilot in which the high schoolers had a confrontation about Spencer secretly kissing her sister’s boyfriend. Amukamara broke character at one point when he was distracted by the camera filming them, and by the end, Fitzpatrick found it hard to keep a straight face, too. Luckyily for the football players, they didn’t have to wear bikinis like Troian Bellisario and Sasha Pieterse did in the original scene.
As Gossip Cop reported, Bellisario and Pieterse’s co-star Lucy Hale appeared on the “Tonight Show” to promote “Pretty Little Liars” last week, and Fallon claimed he actually watches the show. Check out the videos below!
