Anne Hathaway is getting rave reviews for her performance in The Dark Knight Rises — including an endorsement by none other than President Obama.

At a star-studded fundraiser at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s Connecticut home on Monday, Obama praised Hathaway’s turn as Catwoman to guests such as Aaron Sorkin, Anna Wintour and Jerry Springer.

“She’s spectacular,” Obama said. “And I did get a chance to see Batman. And she was the best thing in it. That’s just my personal opinion.”
