President Obama to make historic visit on “The View”

President Barack Obama will be on “The View” on July 29.

It’s the first time ever a sitting president has visited a daytime talk show.

Barbara Walters, who underwent heart valve replacement surgery in May, was scheduled to return to the program in September, but will be in the studio for this special show.

Walters said, “We are so pleased and honored that President Obama will be a guest on ‘The View.’ The President last appeared on the program in March 2008 while he was still a Senator, and First Lady Michelle Obama was a featured guest co-host in June 2008. This shows that both the President and First Lady feel that our show is an influential and important source of information and news.”

The interview will be taped a day earlier, and is slated to touch on such subjects as the economy, the Gulf oil spill, jobs, and family life inside the White House.

    If I don’t forget, I will. I am not a great fan of Barbara Walters though.
    I like this man because he doesn’t try to put himself above the American people. This man works hard even though
    there is a lot of racist people that don’t see above the color of his skin. I am not a racist, if God isn’t, then why should I ? He strictly told the American people on his winning night that the American people will have to help bail the economy out of the hole that we were in when he got there; and the ignorant people pretend that they don’t remember that. They started booing & beating on him before he got settled in office good. Lame.

    OBAMA disgraces and humiliates our nation every day! Does he think that all the people at home in the A.M. because they lost their jobs due to his ignorance want to see his arrogant face ? The man is so full of himself! November 2, 2010 is National Take Back Our Country Day. First with the congress & senate ! One thing for sure is those liberal wackos on “the View “will be gushing over him , gag me !
