Portia de Rossi NOT Jealous Of Ellen DeGeneres’ Friendship With Tatum O’Neal, Despite Report
Portia de Rossi is not jealous of Ellen DeGeneres’ friendship with Tatum O’Neal, despite a new fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, which was made in a tabloid that has an extremely poor record when it comes to accurate stories about the talk show host. We’re told the latest story is “not true.”
According to Star, ever since O’Neal recently announced that these days she’s dating “mostly women,” de Rossi has begun to rethink the lunches DeGeneres has had with the Oscar-winning actress. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Portia had always assumed Tatum was straight. Now alarm bells are going off in her head, and she’s had to ask Ellen if there is anything going on between them. Ellen tells her ‘absolutely not,’ but the seed has definitely been planted in Portia’s mind.”
The magazine then adds that DeGeneres and de Rossi already “lead separate lives… they live in different homes.” But none of this is true. Despite the tabloid’s claims, the couple lives under the same roof and the two are happy together.
Additionally, there is nothing going on between DeGeneres and O’Neal and certainly de Rossi is not jealous of a non-existent relationship. Seriously, the whole story is made up. In fact, a DeGeneres insider asked, “When did these secret lunches take place? Would really love to know,” before adding that the latest tale from Star is “not true.”
Gossip Cop has debunked a slew of stories about DeGeneres from the tabloid. Two years ago, Gossip Cop corrected Star when it falsely claimed that the talk show host and de Rossi were divorcing. We similarly busted the tabloid when it made the same inaccurate claim last year. We also debunked stories from Star that alternately claimed DeGeneres has a “no kids allowed” in her home policy and that she and de Rossi were accepting a baby. A skeptic might suspect the tabloid either has the absolute worst sources when it comes to DeGeneres or that it just makes up stories. What do you think?
