Pitbull Strikes Back Against Lindsay Lohan Over “Give Me Everything” Lawsuit

Truth rating: 10

Things are heating up in the legal war between Lindsay Lohan and Pitbull.

As Gossip Cop reported over the summer, Lohan is suing the rapper over what she claims are “defamatory statements” in the lyrics of his track “Give Me Everything.” The song includes the line, “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, keep flowin’ / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

Pitbull quickly responded, saying he was shocked by her lawsuit and never intended to hurt Lohan or her career. Now, he’s taking an even harder line. In new legal documents, Pitbull blasts Lohan for filing her lawsuit in New York even though she’s actually lived in California since 2004.

To drive home his point in a less than polite way, the rapper brings up her California-based DUI arrests, parole violations, jail stints, necklace theft, house arrest and community service obligations. Not leaving that alone, Pitbull says Lohan’s “frequent legal troubles” will likely keep her in California “for the foreseeable future.”

Pitbull claims Lohan’s laundry list of offenses only strengthen her ties to California, and therefore the case should not be pursued in New York State court. What do you think about the way Pitbull is responding to the legal battle?
