Pink Slams Body Shamers: I Won’t Be Bullied Over My Weight (VIDEO)
Pink slammed her body shamers in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” at Tuesday’s BMI Pop Awards, saying, “I don’t take well to bullying.” See video below.
“I’m not a person that will be bullied. I’m not a person that will stand by watching other people bullied,” Pink told “ET” about the online hate she has received for her weight. She continued, “I’m also raising a girl. I am a girl, I have feelings, and people think I take no sh*t and I’m tough, tougher than nails, but I’m a human being.”
The singer noted that internet trolls think they’re better than everyone else, but she’s happy just the way she is. “They think their opinion matters and holds weight, and I don’t know where [or] why they’re giving themselves so much credit, you know?” said the performer.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the singer went on social media last month to blast haters who were making fun of the way she looked at an event. Speaking about her decision to respond to the comments, Pink told “ET,” “I thought it was important for me to remind them that I don’t care. My life is full. I like food a lot and I really like to cook. I like to live, I find joy in that, and we’re doing alright in the Hart household.”
