Gisele Consoles Tom Brady After Super Bowl Loss (PHOTOS)

As you may have noticed, Super Bowl XLVI took place on Sunday, with the New York Giants once again defeating the New England Patriots.

Shortly after losing to Eli Manning on football’s biggest stage, Tom Brady had the unenviable task of speaking to reporters – and the slightly more enviable privilege of being consoled by his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Earlier this week, Gisele sent an email asking friends and family to pray for Brady and the Patriots.

Obviously, things didn’t turn out as they would have liked.

But Brady still has Gisele, and Gisele still has Brady, and that counts for a lot.

Awwww. She looks like she was crying – her face is a little red. You have to remember it’s just a game, but for the players it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Awww. It was a great game though.

We all know we cannot win everything, but losing is still a bitch

I was rooting for New York, but it must suck to lose to them twice like that. At least you know she’s a supportive wife.

  • SomeoneHasGotToLose

Perhaps instead of asking God for a win she should have asked him to protect him and all the other players,,,Not make the Win a priority.
I read her prayer request..just seemed shallow. It never mentioned anything about protecting them at all…What seems important to us sometimes is not the plans God has set…Humility is most definatelt displayed by Eli.
BTW I like both teams and I did ask God to protect all players. My husband is NFL coach.

  • Regina1180

Im pretty sure that he’s still a winner. He gets to go home with Gisele.

  • Pjl1261

Well your response isn’t very Christian like. You don’t even know her. She doesn’t seem shallow to me.

  • Smitty

Eli humble?!?! Was that when he said he was an elite football player? That’s humble? My husband is an NFL coach too. Insert eye roll here.

  • Ben

    Yup.

She cursed out his teammates for dropping passes. NOT a great move in my opinion. I felt sorry for Tom, but she crossed a line.

  • Makdk

Can we talk about how ugly she is?

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

Tom’s a little bit of a drama queen, no? Both teams played well, it was a classic game and no one, NO ONE should be hanging their heads.

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

Very true. She loves her husband and wants him to be safe. What’s wrong with that?

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

Not true. Her remarks were addressed to the classless, rude Giant’s fan hassling her.

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

You can still do it with dignity and class. Not like the “winning” fans who were taunting Bundchen.

A classic game–and no one, on either side, should be hanging their heads. That ol’ football ain’t round and it bounces funny.

Eli has won two Super Bowls and defeated the Pats during the regular season this year. That sounds pretty elite to me. Being humble and recognizing your own strengths and accomplishments are not mutually exclusive. Go Eli!

actually no, why the heck would she say that to the sore winner? she was talking among her friends, and someone caught it in act. personally i don’t think it’s a big deal, but since she’s all like a huge supermodel people made it into a big deal. i’m sure i say much worse things than her when i get upset about a play my team does… but since i’m an “ordinary” person, no one would really care.

  • Anonymous

why so eli is not allowed to say that he’s an elite football player? that since he did that it makes him an ahole. dude if eli believes that he is an elite football player he has the right to say that.

  • Anonymous

i agree with you, i just get mad at some of the fans who still have to criticize each other whether it’s cheating, or a guy being an ahole or the only reason the giants won is because they were lucky. those to me are all bs. (i’m talking about both sides of the fans: i hate sore winners and sore losers)

idk… eli’s wife is pretty also (for a girls opinion)

  • Wendywatkins

I would think a man in Tom Brady’s position would be embarrased about his wife publicly lashing out. Someone has to lose. It’s not like they lost a family member. He IS a drama queen.

This is a great example as to why the biggest turnover in yesterday’s Superbowl was after the game! (http://wp.me/p1XSrf-6n) And correct me if I am wrong, but since taking up with the super model Brady hasn’t won in the big game. Is Bundchen to the Pats what Yoko was to the Beatles?

  • justme

we can say “this is just a game” as many times as we want, but for the players this is all their life(!), they aim to win and they live for it. but Gisele as a wife of player, should have said “this is just a f* game!” after his team lost.

  • Tami

She is pretty from the front but that side view —-WOW I never knew what a big nose she had. She really is not that attractive to be a super model.
