Duck Dynasty Star Phil Robertson Uses Rape and Decapitation Fantasy to Attack Atheists (LISTEN)
“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson is once again under fire for controversial comments, this time after he used a shocking rape and decapitation scenario to attack atheists. The reality star recently gave a speech at the Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast in Florida and used a hypothetical situation involving an atheist family being murdered to illustrate his belief that people who don’t believe in God, also don’t believe in right and wrong. Listen to the audio below.
Robertson begins by setting up a scene: “Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot ’em, and they take his wife and decapitate her head off in front of him.”
He continues, “And then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now is it dude?'” Robertson adds, “Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhoood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if this was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.'”
Robertson argues that his violent scenario of rape, decapitation and castration would be interpreted differently by Christians and atheists who don’t believe in a God-directed morality: “If it happened to them, they would probably say, ‘Something about this just ain’t right.'” As Gossip Cop previously reported, the “Duck Dynasty” star came under fire back in September when he said ISIS militants should either be converted or killed. He also faced backlash for comments about homosexuality. Listen to Robertson’s new rant about atheists below, and tell us what you think.
