Peter Facinelli: Report Claiming I’m “Begging” Jennie Garth Back Is “Ridiculous And False”
Peter Facinelli is not begging his ex-wife Jennie Garth to take him back, despite a tabloid report. The actor exclusively tells Gossip Cop the claim is “ridiculous and false.” But that’s not all he said about the National Enquirer, which fabricated the claim.
According to the repeatedly discredited tabloid, Facinelli has “begged” Garth to give him another shot. A seemingly made-up “source” tells the magazine, “Jennie’s confused and torn up by this… Peter was the love of her life.” Of course, as Gossip Cop previously reported, Garth married Dave Abrams last July. Still, the outlet’s so-called “source” alleges Facinelli “keeps telling Jennie he wishes they were still together,” and even though she supposedly “loves Peter,” she “can’t just walk away from Dave.”
None of this tabloid’s tale, however, is remotely true. Facinelli exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “Anyone who knows me knows that this is ridiculous and false. I am very happy for my ex-wife and Dave, who is a good man and very kind to my children. Jennie is the mother of my children and the thought of disrupting her marriage or life in any way is ludicrous.”
About the magazine that published this false story, Facinelli says, “The Enquirer should be ashamed of themselves for fabricating such an irresponsible article that is hurtful to my children and all parties existing. We have all moved on. I hope that the press can do so as well.”
