Chris Brown Has Dog Breeding Business?

Chris Brown is getting slammed by PETA for his alleged dog breeding business.

Earlier this week, the singer’s mother tweeted, “Chris Brown Puppies For Sale,” along with a link to website titled “CB Breeds.”

The site, which features a photo of Brown cuddling a pup, advertises the sale of six Pit Bull Terriers at $1,000 each.

On Friday, PETA got wind of the star’s supposed side business, and issued a statement condemning Brown’s so-called dog-trade.

PETA tells Gossip Cop, “There is no such thing as a responsible breeder while wonderful dogs are being put down in animal shelters across the country for lack of a good home.”

“This is a moneymaking scheme, and Brown will count the suckers who fall for it as he counts the money on the way to the bank. Shelters will count the bodies in the barrel. As Justin Bieber, Kellan Lutz and Rocsi Diaz say, ‘adopt, never buy.’”

But is Brown really moonlighting as a dog breeder?

No!

A rep for the singer tells Gossip Cop, “These are puppies from his dogs he has back home in Virginia that are being sold to make sure they get good homes.”

“He loves animals, especially dogs,” adds Brown’s spokesperson.

And there you have it.

    This is why no one takes PETA seriously. Everyone who sells their puppies are dog breeders, most are getting the money back from getting them shots & stuff. I think they’re kinda late on this though because he said his dogs had puppies and he was selling them a while ago.
    If they think by that logic then anyone who’s dogs(or cats) have babies should be banned from selling them because they’re animal breeders.

    Bottom line, he or his family is still breeding dogs and selling them. Pitbulls are the most euthanized dog in shelters. You can find a puppy at any shelter. Don’t like PETA but agree with the setiments regarding this situation. He is still promoting breeding and buying, instead of adoption

    I think it’s disgusting that PETA can try to use anything and anyone to drum up support for their cause (see he flour bombing of Kim kardashian). These ppl are sick, scary, and fanatical!! I love animals but I REALLY HATE PETA! What exactly is the complaint here? If your dog has puppies then what are you to do KILL THEM? What does this ridiculous “NAZI-type” organization want? And for the record Justin Bieber has a puppy he got last year from Chris Brown named Dirty Diana or DD!

    I had the same thoughts exactly. This is a very shady character an I immediately wondered if he is breeding pit bulls for fighting & selling the extras. I wouldn’t put it past him, as he seems to be a very ugly, angry person. All I have to go on is his physical abuse of Rhianna, but where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

    You are so sad. He loves his dogs. Just because he has a past doesn’t mean he’s out there to fight dogs. Not every black man is the same. He’s not Michael Vick.

    His mother and his cousins can’t take care of all the puppies. PETA helps to kill animals themselves. What do you think happens to all the puppies in shelters that don’t get homes? They get euthanized!

    He doesn’t want that. So he is selling a few of his puppies who are in good health.

    The only reason people are calling him a breeder is because of his past. And he’s not falling for it. Not everyone who’s dogs have puppies is a puppy breeder.

    He’s net worth is at an estimated 22 million. You really think $1000 is anything to him. He probably spends that an a night at out dinner with his friends. 1 grand is nothing to him.

    This is a non story. And I wish people would admit it’s his past you have an issue with and that if he didn’t have a criminal record, which he is paying a price for and his presiding judge is happy with his efforts, then this wouldn’t even be a story. How sad. Let him move and don’t take something so normal and innocent and make it into a nefarious thing.

    his family is selling them in VA. he lives in California. I’m sure he’s just trying to help them recoup some of the money they spent on taking care of all these puppies which are a handful.

    Well then, if Chris Brown is being stupid, then many others are being too. Chris said that he is not breeding dogs. I have a man next door who use to breed retrievers. PETA said nothing to him. Why doesn’t PETA just sit down and talk with these people instead of trying to put them down when they themselves don’t know the whole story. They jump at people too fast when these people are only a needle in the haystack of whatever. Besides, selling the dogs at that price enables him to know that the people can take care of them and want them bad enough to spend that amount of money. The “Dog Whisperer” said that it’s the people not the breed that causes dog problems. Having pets can be very expensive. PETA jumps to negative conclusions too fast when it comes to celebrities that they don’t like. People in their own organization are not right when it comes to animals and their so-called laws. This organization is a dictator. They even hate celebrities that eat meat. So ridiculous! If they continue to mess with Chris, he should sue them. They must think that people should be scared of them since they had that girl to throw flour on Kim. What a ridiculous and dangerous way to get a point across. That flour could have gotten into Kim’s lungs!

And can some please explain to me how selling one litter of puppies makes CB a breeder?? Chris is a multi millionaire, 6 grand is chump change to him.     PETA does more than “help” kill animals. They just outright murder them and don’t even make any bones about it. Look up the text and vid interviews of their founders from recent years. In Virginia, alone, they “rescued” over 4569 pets. They “euthanized” 3630 of the poor things – all adoptable, no physical or behavioral problems. PETA management admits themselves they have no outreach programs to get pets re-homed. They really don’t give a damn. Why? Because they despise “domesticated” breeds. They do not believe people should “own” animals or that animals should, in any way be “constrained” in a domestic setting, controlled by humans. They should only be in the wild. These people are as nutcake as they come. Don’t EVAAAR take an animal to one of their shelters. It’s a death sentence.

    I agree. I don’t think he’s asking for a price to make any money. It’s most likely to ensure that the animals are valued and cared for. People take much better care of anything they have to pay for and not so much what they get for free. Human nature, unfortunately.

    I think it’s about time people climbed down off their piety pulpit and got off Chris Brown’s back. He made a serious mistake, for which he has been tried, sentenced and has been making amends for ever since. There is zero point to continue to flog the guy (except that it must make you feel like a big man yourself to hate on him). He is only 22 and has a long life ahead of him – and probably more mistakes – like the rest of us. Unless you have led a pristeen life yourself, you have no business busting someone else for their errors.

    Well, we are in the rescue side of the tracks. I not personally hate or love Chris Brown for the Rihanna incident, that was a personal tragedy and he has to answer to a higher being for that one and to his fans, which i am not one of them, being older and all it has nothing to do w/his singing. I am into another type of music. However, we find in the streets so many pitbulls and other animals that are thrown away, hurt and abused that i do not consider puppy mills a good business. We promote spay and neuter. There are too many animals being sacrificed for the lack of good homes. Do not give a dog as a present. Loving animals is a personal thing. Do not castigate a person by giving him/her a dog or any animal for that matter. Our Florida everglades are invaded by snakes given as pets that have eaten all the wild life by these starving creatures. Rescuers are not peta or any other association, we are human beings distraught by the many animals abandonded and in need of care, never mind love. Animals feel pain, hunger just like a human being, but unlike a human being they cannot talk to tell us where it hurts. So, in summary, Chris Brown, a millionaire on his own right, doing this type of business, is un-necessary and hurts animals.

    I dont care if this story is real or fake or if its about Chris Brown or not. I am so sick of PETA. I like Jennifer’s comment from 1 day ago about how twisted they really are. I Agree! You do NOT assault any person including a celebrity (Kim K. last month) just proves it. Im not writing this because I’m standing up for Kim (or anyone else they’ve assaulted), I’m writing this to voice my opinion of how they handle business. I love animals and I dont support the killing of them for fur, but my advice is drop these losers and join an ASPCA group like the ones we actually see on tv that actually HELP ANIMALS.
