Perrie Edwards Posts Zayn Malik Kissing Photo After Cheating Rumors, One Direction Exit — SEE NEW PICTURES!
Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik are still going strong after a whirlwind few weeks that included cheating rumors and Malik’s exit from One Direction. See a new photo of the engaged couple at right and below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Malik was accused of cheating on Edwards last month after photos emerged of him seemingly getting close to a purported fan. The singer was enraged by the claims, and took to Twitter to angrily hit back. “I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f*cks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x,” he tweeted. Edwards retweeted the message but otherwise stayed quiet about the situation.
Then, last week, Malik quit One Direction a few days after taking what was thought to be a temporary leave due to stress. In a statement, the star expressed his desire to have a “private” life as a normal 22-year-old, and there was much speculation that he wanted to remain in London to strengthen his relationship with Edwards. Indeed, since Malik left the rest of One Direction in Asia, he and Edwards have been spotted together in England, and were seen boarding a private jet with his family earlier this week.
Still, Edwards remained mum, even as a new woman came forward a few days ago claiming Malik cheated with her. But on Wednesday night, the Little Mix songstress let a picture do the talking for her. Edwards took to Instagram to post a photo of Malik kissing her. No caption was included, and perhaps none was needed. “Zerrie” began trending shortly after as fans got the message loud and clear that they are happily still together.
As Gossip Cop noted, Edwards was attacked on social media after Malik’s One Direction departure, and much like fans were divided then as to whether she was to blame, there still seem to be split opinions now. “Zayn left 1D for this sh*t, why she didn’t left her band? Because she’s a F*CKING SELFISH B*TCH I really hope she die. End,” one follower shockingly commented on Edwards’ Instagram post. Another, however, wrote, “You guys [they’re] happy, stop it. I thought that’s what we want them to be…”
