Perez strikes bad chord with Robert Pattinson guitar story

Perez Hilton posted a piece today that stated Robert Pattinson “stopped by Norman’s Rare Guitars in Tarzana, CA, on Wednesday and autographed a Fender Telecaster guitar for charity.”

On Wednesday?

As in yesterday?

Huh?

Pattinson was NOWHERE NEAR California, let alone North America, yesterday. He was, however, quite visible on the red carpet in London for the premiere of his film, Remember Me.

But just in case Perez has figured out some way to manipulate time and space, Gossip Cop called Norman’s Rare Guitars, where an employee laughed about the blogger’s timeline.

According to the employee, Pattinson wasn’t in the shop yesterday, the Wednesday before, or any Wednesday for months. The “Twilight” star came in last December, and signed a guitar that’s being auctioned this week for the homeless charity Midnight Mission.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop has learned Pattinson is a loyal customer of Norman’s, and has bought two guitars there in the past.

    Any die hard Rob P fan with common sense would have read that post and knew that Perez was full of crap. They would know that he was in London for the premiere of Remember Me and couldn’t be in California. This post is just another excuse for you guys to bash the idiot.

    Dawn Marie, three things: (1) Why do you always defend that idiot Perez, especially when he’s so clearly wrong. His business is to follow the entertainment industry and he doesn’t know that there’s a premiere in London for “Remember Me?” Again, why do YOU defend him every day? What’s YOUR personal reason? (2) Why do you come to Gossip Cop if all you are going to do is complain about them calling out Perez for being an idiot? (3) I read the piece. I’m not a Pattinson fan per se, so his whereabout aren’t known to me, but you know what, I thought it was interesting that Perez is a celebrity blogger who crushes on Pattinson, and doesn’t know he has a premiere in London at that very same time. It’s funny (how pathetic he is).

    Gossip Cop, love your work! Disregard this funnel-minded Perez friend/employee/relative… You are obviously doing a great job that he has to have people defending stories or explaining why he gets everything wrong.

    And sure enough, defender of the fools, apologist of the idiots, Dawn Marie, is here! You realize, Dawn, you have less credibility than Perez by defending all his mistakes. He’s simply slow, intellectually challenged, but assuming you don’t have a mental handicap, by supporting, deflecting, explaining, and defending why he makes simple mistakes every day, that just makes an imbecile (or a relative, which may be both).
